I have seen comments that there are DD215s in his records that add other awards. If you only have one 214, you don’t have all of his records. The OMPF would include all documents to include Sworn Statements that are needed for awards such as this. Someone can do a request and get his full record, as it seems there is a lot missing here. I used to work in S1 so I can tell you this story has a lot of holes!

I’ve spent the last 98 hours, with the exception of not enuf sleep & a few hours of family time, trying to figure out wtf is going on. I have found a few things, 1 significant, that will be in Part II, that are in his favor but there remain a lot of major, serious holes in his story that I can’t find any way to account for. And I have tried, didn’t just do 15 lazy minutes, but hours & hour & hours.

I’ve known Mills for over 2 decades. He is 100% Stolen Valor. I contracted with him in Iraq, where he claimed to be a Ranger, Sniper & 18D. He was terminated by Dyn for refusing to provide documentation regarding his claims. He is the most amazing and spectacular case of Stolen Valor our country has ever seen.

Mills BSM is a total and complete fabrication and several of the achievements listed have been totally and completely debunked. We would love to identify the individuals that have sworn statements, BGen Gray is full of shit and now can’t recall signing the recommendation 20+ years actions were said to have taken place.

Mills is a POS.

I look forward to reading this carefully, but don’t have time right now. I’ve done a fair amount of military records research in St. Louis where the National Military Personnel Records center is located, whose collections were severely burned in 1973.

Our Clayton high classmate Dave Lanzner actually worked there at or around the time of the fire.

The key question is whether the DD 214 form is available for this guy as that has all of the key info. If he’s not willing to release it himself, they won’t release it, but he should be willing to do that himself otherwise he’s hiding something.

The DD 214 was obtained and it’s been verified as authentic. There’s nothing in it that supports his story.

I see it now, having read the article:

“Oller kept digging into the situation and discovered more and more evidence, including information he obtained under the Freedom of Information Act that Mills has not made public to prove the truthfulness of the narrative he tells about his military history, including the congressman’s Official Military Personnel File and DD 214 form, a post-discharge Report of Separation that contains the full record of service members’ time in the military and every piece of information they might need to verify it when the apply for “benefits, retirement, employment and membership in veterans' organizations.”

he has now made it where you would need a a form 180 signed by him to get his records. After contacting hrc they said they had been ordered to not give out any more from congress. All foia requests for award citations etc have all been denied

Yes that must be it. What’s really amazing is that the former combat vet who’s dug up most of the material is a Trump voter who thinks Mills is a liberal & has been working to gather info since long before Trump was shot so he has magic powers & if Mills wasn’t funding an inquiry, if that’s true, no one else, including the Trump administration, has the money to get to the bottom of things. How did you figure it out — and after your lobotomy, which makes it all the more impressive?????
